JULIEN, the library's online catalog: JULIEN for DL Students

This guide provides an overview of JULIEN, the library's online catalog, as well as information about My Library Account, and its features.

What is in JULIEN for me?

Search JULIEN, the VLS library's online catalog, for titles relevant to your research.

EBOOKS: we have many thousands of ebooks that you can access right way, just by clicking on a link.  You can limit your JULIEN searches to ebooks only.  Please note that you will need your Vermont Law School login and password to access the majority of our ebooks.  Others require a Westlaw or Lexis password.  You will be prompted for the appropriate login/password when you click on the link to the ebook in JULIEN.  You will NOT need a My JULIEN account to access these resources.

PRINT TITLES: See a print title in JULIEN that you are interested in?

  • If you need just a chapter, we will retrieve, scan and email a "chapter" from a book found in our collection that is under 30 pages.  Please see our Interlibrary Loan page for instructions.
  • If you need the whole book, go to a library in your region, and request an interlibrary loan for the VLS title (subject to the borrowing/lending policies of that library).
