International & Foreign Law Research: Basics

United Globe by GDJ

About This Guide

This guide highlights basic resources and starting points for Foreign and International Law at the Vermont Law and Graduate School library.  In particular, subscription resources are featured along with links to reputable free sources as well as in depth guides from other institutions.

Research Strategy

When researching foreign and international law, follow a similar research process as you would for researching United States law. Specifically, use secondary sources (discussing the law) to lead you to primary sources (authoritative documents).
