Agriculture sectors are primarily engaged in growing crops, raising animals, and harvesting fish and other animals from a farm, ranch, or their natural habitats. Additional regulatory information may also be available from the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Comprehensive/General Sources of Statutes and Regulations
The CFR is the official codification of the rules first published in the Federal Register by executive departments and agencies of the Federal Government. Includes a link to eCFR, the regularly updated online version of the CFR.
The Federal Register is the official daily publication for proposed and final rules, notices of federal agencies and organizations, and executive orders and other presidential documents.
U.S. Environmental Protection Agency—Agriculture provides information regarding EPA's partnership with the agricultural community to assist in protecting human health and the environment. Includes regulatory requirements , A-Z agriculture topics, news, and related resources.
The Committee's jurisdiction covers a vast number of subjects related to agriculture, nutrition, and forestry. The Library section includes a compilation of legislation, hearing transcripts, committee reports, and nomination information.
The House Committee on Agriculture has general jurisdiction over federal agriculture policy and oversight over some federal agencies. It can recommend funding appropriations for various governmental agencies, programs, and activities, as defined by House rules.
