Online Students Library Guide

Information about VLGS's Cornell Library and the services and resources we offer to our online students

Library Overview

The Julien and Virginia Cornell Library at Vermont Law and Graduate School (VLGS) is a rich resource for students. Our 35,000-square-foot facility houses print materials across four floors, including a highly specialized Environmental Collection. We also have a knowledgeable, service-oriented, friendly staff who are available to assist patrons with their library needs.

The library’s collection is searchable via JULIEN, the online library catalog. In addition, students have access to the following:

  • More than 360,000 titles in our collections, including over 300,000 ebooks

  • About 20 research guides on topics such as environmental law and policy and Vermont law

  • More than 60 specialized research databases that provide content such as videos, books, laws, and journal and newspaper articles

In addition to traditional library services, such as reference help and interlibrary loan (ILL), the library offers one-on-one research consultations and exam support, such as online study aids from West Academic.

On behalf of all of us at the Cornell Library, we look forward to working with you!
