- Check the legal research databases (Westlaw, Lexis+, Fastcase)?
- For federal courts, check RECAP?
- Check the court's website?
- Perform a Google search to see if someone has made the document available online?
- For federal courts, ask the Cornell Library to check PACER? (Please include the court name and docket number in your request. You can use RECAP to locate that information if you do not already have it.)
If the answer to all these questions is yes and you still have not been able to locate the docket materials you need, it is time to contact the court directly. The Cornell Library's reference staff are also available to provide assistance.
