Cornell Library at Vermont Law & Graduate School

Faculty Library Guide

Library Overview

The Julien and Virginia Cornell Library at Vermont Law and Graduate School (VLGS) is a rich resource for faculty. Our 35,000-square-foot facility houses print materials across four floors, including a specialized Environmental Collection. We also have a knowledgeable, service-oriented, friendly staff who are available to assist faculty with their library needs.

The library’s collection is searchable via JULIEN, the online library catalog. Through the catalog and other resources, faculty have access to the following:

  • More than 375,000 titles in our collections, including over 300,000 ebooks

  • Over 20 research guides on topics such as environmental law and policy and Vermont law

  • More than 90 specialized research databases that provide content such as videos, books, laws, and journal and newspaper articles

In addition to traditional library services, such as reference help and interlibrary loan (ILL), the library offers one-on-one research consultations and opportunities to collaborate on in-class research sessions.

We look forward to working with you!
